Hair Conficts

Just walking around I passed by an elderly black gentleman that I had just smiled and said Hello to, who looked at me strange and seemed to snatch his head away. Because his behavior was so, in my opinion, negative I looked back for a description of what he looked like and what I noticed most was his hair that was nappier than mine and could have used a little hair cut; yet he was looking at me with so much disdain. Then some younger guys who appear to have themselves together also look at Natural Hair as a cause for them to address with contempt the female. Several of those guys have told their wives they better not have their hair done like mine-natural.
So to all of those Men I say

• We women of Color are searching for our true selves, our Natural Beauty God gave us...
• Right now We may not have it at its best but we are going to get there
• When We do We are going to have Healthy Stylist who are not dying from inhaling harsh chemicals and hopefully they can pass their lower cost for insurance down so that we can come more regular for our do's
  
• We will be with you in better health.
